An Old Pirate on Keys
John Snyder, Keyboardist. A classically trained keyboardist, John has been playing for his own enjoyment for nearly 50 years. His interests have ranged from volunteering at Christmas parties for nursing facilities, to messing around with pick up bands, to starting his own group – “The Old Pirates” – playing primarily cover songs, musical and bubblegum…. “humming ♫ singing ♫ foot-tapping ♫ hand-clapping groovy music from the 50s – 80s, with an old pirate song or two”.
On a whim, John recently auditioned for Maine’s Got Talent – L/A’s Premier Music Competition and will be one of ten musicians chosen to perform at the March 23rd, 2013 event, a fundraiser for Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services.
John is available for private events and gigs.
